Realignment of R&D footprint
The global R&D footprint was realigned for a globally active, French Tier 1 automotive supplier. For the more than 4,500 development employees in several divisions, development locations were created close to customers for innovation projects, pre-development was centralized and development locations for software and simulations were established in best cost countries.

A Tier-1 automotive supplier faced extensive technological changes and sought to adapt its R&D organization. We conducted an assessment according to our R&D Performance Check and defined the future development organization. This included technological focus, internal organization and dimensioning.
