Target Operating Model

A target operating model was conceptualized and implemented for the leading manufacturer in the field of air and drive technology based in Germany. Based on the previously defined corporate strategy, new processes were designed in the correspondingly identified key areas and a process organization based on this was created. The result is an optimized process framework, the appropriate organization and a customized management model.

Realignment business area

The task was to realign the business unit of a globally active Tier 1 automotive supplier. For the systems business/automated driving, the organization was set up with a view to the future, as distinct from the traditional components business. The result is a far-reaching reorganization of the division, which is supported by all managers and ensures future success in autonomous driving issues.

Location

For our client, an automotive OEM, we prepared a long-term strategic location decision in the context of HV batteries. For this purpose, it was necessary to record the associated processes in detail and to develop a technological target concept. Based on this, a sound business case was set up and the site was implemented according to the recommendation.

Cost optimization of indirect processes

We implemented a broad-based cost reduction program at our customer, a global logistics group. One aspect of this was the cost optimization of indirect processes. We implemented various measures for the customer, ranging from process automation to outsourcing administrative activities to external service providers.
